The service life of the shotcrete machine depends not only on the quality of the machine itself, but also in maintenance during long-term work. The good maintenance can improve the work efficiency and prolong the service life. As the core wearing parts of the shotcrete machine, rubber plate and rotor disc is key to machine. Today, let's learn some maintenance skills of the rubber plate and rotor disc.
Maintenance of rubber plate and rotor disc
As the core components of the shotcrete machine, rubber plate and rotor disc generally have a service life of about several hundred hours. So it is necessary to do a good job in their maintenance.
The rubber plate and rotor disc are fixed by the four pressing mechanisms of shotcrete machine. Therefore, before each shift of spraying, check the pressing force applied to the rubber plate.
If the pressing force of the pressing mechanism is too small, the pressure air will overflow from the joint surface of the rubber plate and rotor disc. The fine particles carried by the air flow can enter the sealing surface. The fine particles will increase the wear of the rubber plate and rotor disc.
If the pressing force is too big, it will cause wear of the rubber plate. Which will increase the power consumption of the motor. And thereby the cost will increase and efficiency will reduce.
When cleaning the shotcrete machine after each shift, special attention should be paid. Especially to the cleaning of the rubber plate and rotor disc. The surface of the rubber plate and rotor disc must be cleaned. After cleaning, check the wear level of them. The standard is whether it can achieve an effective seal. If not, then replace them. If the sealing surface has deep grooves, the rubber plate must be replaced. Grinding the rotor disc when the scratch depth on the surface exceeds 1mm.
