Machine structure of KPZ-4 shotcrete machine for dry material 4
D. Air system
The three ball valves are used to control the main air duct, the upper air duct to the rotor, and the lower air duct to the rotational swirler respectively. Another small air hose pumps air for the hopper vibrator. A pressure gauge is mounted on the lower air duct, in order to monitor the pressure inside the conveying pipe.
As one of the core systems of the dry spray machine, the material is transferred to discharge outlet along with the movement of rotor, where compressed air from air chamber blows the mixture to outlet elbow. Another blow of compressed air from the rotational swirler will further scatter, accelerate and rotate the mixture to the conveying pipe. Finally, concrete mixture is sprayed out through the nozzle where a little water is added.
