The correct pressing of the machine in use has an important impact on the wear cost. The sealing plate is not allowed to have out of limit stress due to excessive clamping, otherwise it will be excessively worn due to friction heating. The heat resistance limit of the sealing plate is 110 ℃, which generally does not exceed 80 ℃ in use.

Each shift shall clean the sealing plate and check the wear situation. If the rubber plate has been worn to the following extent: the steel is flush with the rubber surface or there is air leakage at the feed hopper, the sealing plate must be replaced.
