The hose pump is composed of five parts: pump housing, rotor body, reducer, base and hose.
When the hose pump is working, the rotor body rotates, and a pair of rollers on the rotor body rotate along a special rubber hose. The extrusion force generated by the rollers and the pump housing flattens the hose. Under the elasticity of the tube itself and the force of the side guide rollers, the liquid is sucked into the vacuum generated by the restoration of the original state. The liquid is discharged from the tube under the mechanical extrusion of the rollers, and the cycle repeats.
The hose pump has a simple structure and is easy to make. The durability of the hose pump is mainly determined by the elasticity and corrosion resistance of the tube. Its flow rate is related to the speed of the motor and the inner diameter of the tube. Therefore, the key lies in the selection of the tube and the speed control mechanism. As long as the tube has a long enough life and a stable speed, it is no problem to maintain quantitative delivery for a long time.
