Differences between Drilling Machines and Piling Machines:
Piling machines and drilling machines differ in function. Piling machines are primarily used for driving underwater piles along embankments or docks, while drilling machines are commonly used for driving piles for highway guardrails and are suitable for drilling holes in all soil layers except for flowing silt.
In terms of application, piling machines are suitable for situations requiring precast piles, while drilling machines are suitable for situations requiring cast-in-place piles.
Regarding pile type, piling machines drive precast piles, while drilling machines drive cast-in-place piles.
In terms of construction method, piling machines drive piles into the ground using the impact force of a pile hammer, while drilling machines drill holes in the ground using a drill bit and then pour concrete to form the pile.
